Chhatarpur temple is dedicated to Goddess Katyayni. It has another name Shri Adya Katyayni Peetham.it is a very beautiful temple. It is not as big as the Akshardham temple. Chhatarpur temple area is 28 hectares (70 acres). It is on the southwestern outskirts of Delhi. This temple was established in 1970 with the support of Baba sent Nagpat Ji. He Died in 1998. His Samadhi is on the premises of Shiv Gauri Nageshwar Temple. At a distance of 4 km, there is Qutab Minar.
Chhatarpur temple is the second largest temple after Akshardham temple in Delhi. It is made from marble and with all of the facets, there is jaali (perforated stone or latticed screen) work. We can classify it as the Vesara style of architecture. The temple is for Hindus and there we get to see beautiful statues of Shiv god and Nandi. Shri Adhya Katyayani Shaktipith Mandir, Delhi.

Special things about Chhatarpur temple
In the temple corridor there you get to see 20 big temples of different gods and goddesses. Those all are constructed by the stone of sangmarmar.
There is also a different room for Baba Nagpal who helped in the construction of the temple.
The temple priest starts decorating the idol of Katayayni Devi at 3 Am. For doing makeup of Goddess Katyayni there is used different special types of flowers. There we get to see different types of decoration of katyayni Devi daily.
It is also said that whoever comes into this temple and asks wish with a true heart wishes complete. When you enter in temple there you get to see a big tree on which many chunries, kalawa, and bangles are hung. People tie these things to complete their wish.
Below the tree
there is also a donation box if you want to donate some money to the temple or god so you can donate.
There is also a big shivling of bhole Shankar in between of 9 forms of Ma Durga.
In Chhatarpur temple there is also the beautiful idol of Nandi. It is faith that if you say any wish in Nandi’s ear, it will complete.
There is also shiv trishool and the idol of Hanuman. Both look very good.
Rules of Chhatarpur temple
There are also some rules of the temple which should be strictly followed.
The first and common rule is that you have to take off the slipper outside of the temple.
Second, you cannot enter in short dresses in a temple. You have to wear full and simple dresses.
There you can take photos but you have to ask before taking pictures of religious rituals like idols of gods and ceremonies. In the main temple and hall, photography is not allowed.
There is a ban on any profitable activity in the temple.

Chhatarpur temple is a symbol of religious devotion and architectural brilliance. It is in Delhi near Chhatarpur metro station. There is also a Kutub miner at a distance of 4 km, so when you go to Kutub minar you must go to this temple.
