It is a very beautiful white building. The Museum of Illusion is located, at A 30, 1st floor, Rajeev Chowk, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Rajeev Chowk is the nearest metro station here.

There you get a parking facility in front of the museum and the parking charge is ₹10 for two-wheelers and ₹20 for four-wheelers. It is open all day. The opening time of the museum is 11 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday, and 11 am to 8:30 pm Saturday to Sunday. When you enter the museum there is provided a menu of all illusions.

Entry fees in the Museum of Illusions:

In this museum entry fees are 650 above 18. And for Children who are 3+ years their fee is 520. On Sunday and Saturday, the price is high. Per adult ₹690. And for Children who are above three years, their fee is 550.

There is one offer also for you that if you visit before noon you will get a discount means adult people have to pay only 500 instead of 650. And for it, you have to scan a code and only from the website of the museum do you have to purchase a ticket then you can take its benefit.

What are the different types of illusions in the museum of illusions?

There you see many types of illusions like chair illusion, room illusion, auto illusion, Tricky stick, optical illusion, Ebbinghaus illusion, holograms, panzo optical illusion, spinning dancer, etc.

Tricky Stick:

There is an image of a nut bolt. The bolt is attached with a nut in a straight line. While seeing it from afar, it seems real but when you go close, you will realize that it is just an image.

Pen illusion:

On the round shape of a table, there is a pen in an oblique position and just behind it there is a rectangular board and in this, there is a hole of a rounded shape. People spin the table and when they spin it it seems that a pen is passing from that rounded hole.

Tilted Room:

In this room, there is a big mirror, when you look in that mirror so you feel that you have to stand oblique even if you have to stand straight.

Optical Illusion:

This is an image that uses light and color to confuse your mind. Some images change shape, and some move and disappear for 30 seconds. Some images change position for example, there is an image of an auto inner ceiling of a museum when you show your finger to it, it creates an illusion that you have lifted that auto on your finger.

Chair illusion:

They have made some shapes on fursh. When one person stands in the middle of the shape and one stands outside of the shape it seems from far, that one person is sitting on the chair. And other person who is standing beside him will look taller than the second person even if both are standing. It’s amazing.

Holograms illusion:

These are 3D illusions, these are also images that change design and disappear or bring any image in front of your eyes.

Stereogram:

In an exhibit, there are hidden 3D images. It provides you funny and educational experience on the base of the image’s view and mystery.

History of the Museum of Illusions:

This museum opened to the public on 10 February 2015. The Zagreb Croatia was the first museum of illusion in 2015. It became an overnight success. This museum started growing soon and became an attraction of every city.

The Greek philosopher Aristotle wrote the first description of illusory in his Parva Naturalia. David Copperfield presented the largest illusion he created an illusion in New York of the disappearing Statue of Liberty.

How to Reach the Museum of Illusions?

Metro: You can take the metro from your station it will drop you at Connaught Place and then you can take a bus or rickshaw to Rajeev Chowk metro station.
