History of Chandni Chowk Market:
Chandni Chowk is in the east Part. Shahjahan set up a market in the 17th century, which is now the famous to the name of Chandni Chowk Bazaar. Shahjahan’s daughter Aara Bagam designed this Bazaar. In starting its design was like half-moon, in square shape. Shahjahan called this market “Moonlight Skier”.
The reflection of the moon was used to illuminate a pool of water. This pool was in front of the town hall. First-day bazaar has popularity among silver traders.
Many traders came from turkey, Denver, China, and other countries to trade. Therefore Chandni chowk is also known as “Silver Street”. Chandni Chowk is a very old and too large market. You will get tired while seeing it but it will not finish soon. There is too much rush every day, especially on Saturday.

- Red Fort: When you visit Chandni Chowk Bazaar It will look at you directly in front. It is very big. It built the Mughal Emperor. When he was shifting Delhi to Agra then in 1638 its construction work started. The prime minister hosts a flag here every year.

- Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir: Digamber temple is the oldest temple in Delhi. It is opposite Red Ford. This temple is dedicated to the 23rd Tirthankara Parshvanath. It has idols of Parshvanath, Lord Mahavir Rishabhdev, and others. It is also called Lal Mandir because its color is red. It is made of red Sandstone. It opens 6 am to 12 pm and 5:30 pm to 9 pm.
- Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib: it is the ninth historical Gurudwara in Delhi, Indian country. It was established in 1783. Baghel sigh established to mark the martyrdom of the Sikh Guru (Guru Teg Bahadur). In this, anyone can go throughout the week. And it is open for 24 hours.

This market is open all day in the week but on Sundays, national holidays,s and festivals like Diwali, eid it is closed.

- Paratha Shop:
The Parathe wali Gali is the most famous in Chandni Chowk. When we plan to come here so suddenly our mind remembers its taste. On this street, there are many shops, which serve parathas with aloo sabji and Achar. There are also available Paneer Paratha and Papad Paratha. The cost of two paratha is ₹250.
- Jung Bahadur Kachori Wala
