Bharat Mandapam is a very big and famous building in India. Most of the people have wished that they visit here at least once. In this building Prime Minister Modi organized a G20 summit and heads of state came here from different countries and they also ate food. In this building, more than 13000 people can sit. It shines late at night by light. There is an idol of Nattraj in front of Bharat Mandapam and a water fountain. What is in Bharat Mandapam This is near Pragati Maidan, New Delhi 110001.
Architecture of Bharat Mandapam
Bharat Mandapam building covers 123 acres of area. It is an oval-shaped building. There is used glass in the building. Except for it, there is a big garden, pool, and small plants. Outside of the building, there are also different types of flags. Its architecture is inspired by “Shankh”
- In the Mandapam building, there are meeting rooms, a Lounge, an auditorium, a theatre, and a business centre. It has made in a budget of 2,700 cores.
This is designed for International exhibitions, business meetings, summits, different conferences and events. In this building pm, Modi had organized a meeting with a foreign head of state.
Feature about Bharat Mandapam
It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It has three amphitheatres, a Meeting room, a business centre and a big hall. In the amphitheatre, there can sit 3000 people. Except for it, there are Pragati chakra and ‘Surya war’. Surya Dwar is the symbol of the solar alliance of 116 countries. Bharat Mandapam is so big that Australia’s Sidney house has nothing in front of it.
This building is a glimpse of traditional art and culture. It has also the facility of 5G internet. There is also a parking Facility of 5,500. Our government can organize any big program like the G20 summit was organized on 9 September 2023.
History of Bharat Mandapam
It was inaugurated by Narender Modi on 26 July. It is an international exhibition-cum- Conventional centre. The pm modi is witness to its naming ceremony.
The Bharat Mandapam name is taken from Anubhav Mandapam of ‘Baba Basveshar’. There are two meanings of Anubhav Mandapam's argument and dialogue.

Prime Minister Modi had expressed his view that it should be a modern building related to Indian values, tradition and culture.

The Bharat Mandapam was redeveloped in 2017. There is a hall in which 7000 people can sit. There are three floors in it
- Three Sessions of Bharat Mandapam
First Floor
On the first floor, there is a conference room which is developed with modern techniques.
Second Floor
On the second floor, there are two modern halls and a lounge area. It is also so big that a summit can happen in this.
Third floor
The third floor can seat 7000 people. And on this floor, there is an amphitheatre. The third floor also includes a big hall. In the amphitheatre, there is a facility to seat 3000 people.
Entry fees and timing
The Entry Fee in Bharat Mandapam ₹150 for adults.
And for children and senior citizens ₹75.
It is open 10 am to 6 pm.
