Feature of The Connaught Place:
Connaught Place is in New Delhi and it is a historic commercial shopping center. It has a unique design and layout. This is built in two concentric circles. There are white hallway pillars along corridors.
- Its inner circle is called Rajeev Chowk and the outer circle is the famous name of Indira Chowk.
- It has also divided into two blocks A and P. The third circle forms wheel-like roads. The Connaught Place is the largest commercial center. History of Connaught Place:
The beautiful circular structure was built by the British in 1927. It was part of their project to relocate the seat of governance civil to Lutyen’s Delhi. It was named after the first Duke of Connaught. It was renamed again after Gandhi, during Union Home Minister S.B.
The CP is among the costliest office markets in India. It has always been premier.

1. Jantar Mantar:-
King Swai Jay Sigh constructed this monument between 1999 and 1743. It is open from dawn to dusk. Indian children under the age of fifteen may enter free of charge with an online ticket priced at ₹25. Entry is free if the age is 15. Foreigner ticket price is ₹250 online. An offline ticket is ₹300. There is a subway by which you can easily cross the road from the underground way.
2. Charkha Museum:-
There you get to see 14 different types of charkha it is very beautiful because there is only a spinning wheel to see so very less people come here. Its ticket price is 20 rupees which is valid for 30 minutes and it opens from 10 Am to 7:30 Pm.
3. Star Bugs coffee:-
It is a very nice restaurant. it is a white building. The star bug has many pillars and beautiful windows. In this building wakkndom Plus company and other companies are merged. Because on building different types of board are hanged.
4. Palika Bazaar:-
There is also Palika parking. There are many gates to enter Palika Bazaar. On the outside of Palika Bazaar, the seating arrangement is good. It is an underground market where you will get many shops and there is also a tattoo shop. It is decorated very well it is just like a mall.
In Connaught Place, you also get to see KFC Hottle.
5. Museum of Illusion:-
Its location is A 30,33 first floor Rajeev Chowk Connaught Place New Delhi. it has a big parking area on the front side of the museum. You have to take the exit by gate no 8.
Its nearest metro station is Rajeev Chowk. The time of the museum is 11 a.m. to 8 P.m. and on day of Sundays and Saturdays, it opens late night 8:30 pm. There you get to feel different types of illusions like chair illusion tilted rooms, tricky sticks, etc. there ticket price is ₹ 650 per adult Monday to Friday, and below 18 age of children ₹520. But on Sunday and Saturday adult fees are ₹690 and children's fees are ₹550.
