Hathi Park: it's Also Green Park and it's called Mayawati Park. Mayawati built this park. There is Dalit prerna sthal (Building) the park is located in Noida sector 95 Delhi. It is a very big and wonderful park. There are so many statues of elephants its Dalit Prerna building and idols of elephants are the main attraction of people. In this, you get to see two types of parks First Park is just behind the building and the second is ahead of it park. There are two types of parks and these have different ways, the first way is behind the Dalit Prerna building and the second way is at the end of the garden, it goes to the Park where there is so much greenery is its looks like a little bit of forest. This is good for couples. You get here peace.
Architecture of Hathi Park
The green park covers an area of 82.58 acres and Dalit Prerna Sthal is on 33 acres of land. Outside the Dalit Prerna Monument, there are lots of statues of elephants. There is a water fountain on which there is made several heads of elephants. Except for it, you will get to see the same heads on the gate of Dalit Prerna Sthal. In this monument, there are idols of Gautama Buddha, Sant Shiromini Raidaas, Sant Kabir, Jan Nayak Birsa, Ramasami, Bheem Rao Ambedkar, Narayan Guru, Chatrapati Sahuji, and E.V Perivaar. They dedicated their life to equality, Humanity, and social justice. There is also an idol of Mayawati and one painting. The statues are made of sandstone their height is 14-18 feet. Which is a symbol of Indian traditional welcome. The Dalit Prerna monument is dedicated to social reformers.
History
The park was constructed by ex-Chief Minister Mayawati of Uttar Pradesh and it was inaugurated on 14 October 2014. There are 700 visitors every week and at Ambedkar Park 10,000 visitors. To make this park total of ₹6.85 billion was used. On 9 October 2009, the highest court gave the order to the Mayawati government to stop its construction. It has a fear that this will not be friendly to the environment.
- In December 2010 court left this concern and permitted the Mayawati Park. There was an idol of Mayawati so there was too much debate on it and the Congress party criticized her. The party’s workers blamed that she had wasted money but DSP dismissed this allegation. Her statue was built in Smarak because it was requested in Ram’s will.
Timing and entry fees in Hathi Park
The Hathi Park is open from 11 Am to 9 P.m. The entry fee is ₹20. Just beside it, there is Okhla Bird Sanctuary Park. There are idols of 11 great men. Except for it, there is an artwork of “Shankh”.
The Museum of Dalit Prerna Sthal is a glimpse of the Dalit Mission.

This is a very wonderful monument. It is dedicated to those people who support social justice, humanity and equality. After going there you feel very good and you will get to learn so many things. The statues of great men in monuments tell us that we should respect everyone and support the interests of all groups of people. This place is perfect for making reels. You can come here with your family and children because there are big gardens and statues of elephants so the children enjoy themselves there a lot.
How to Reach Hathi Park
You can take the metro to Noida. There’s nearest metro stations are Noida Sector 16 and 18. You will reach here easily by metro then from the metro station, you can take an auto to Hathi Park.
Otherwise, you can take the bus to Noida. Bus Number 33 goes to Hathi Park in Dadri.
